Debates in Business History Book Series

Palgrave Macmillan

Editors: Michael Heller and Bradley Bowden

The Palgrave Macmillan Debates in Business History book series seeks to provide a fulcrum for debate about the key issues of our time, be they debates as to the nature of capitalism, Western civilization, race, gender, epistemology, the environment. What the series is directed towards is one of encouraging empirically-informed debate. In other words, the series looks to provide a platform for work that is both empirical and theoretical. To facilitate this objective, the series will comprise 2 book formats, namely “Pivot” (25,000-50,000) and “Standard” (80,000 – 110,000). We anticipate that the Pivot format will prove particularly conductive to on-going debates within the series. Those intending to submit should contact one of the Editors or Associate Editors, namely Michael Heller (michael.heller@brunel.ac.uk), Bradley Bowden (b.bowden@griffith.edu.au), Jeffrey Muldoon (jmuldoon@emporia.edu) or Gabrielle Durepos (gabrielle.durepos@msvu.ca); they will share the book proposal template.

Deadline: Rolling deadline – i.e., as it is a series there are no effective deadlines.
