Research & Innovation Forum 2021 (Rii Forum 2021) Managing Continuity, Innovation, and Change in the Post-Covid World: Technology, politics and society

Date: Athens, 7–9 April 2021 (online & on-site) Many delegates would like to participate in Rii Forum 2021 in person. Yet, we cannot predict what the future will bring, and it is impossible to know what travel restrictions and other public health measures will be in force in April 2021. This uncertainty means that the forum will take place in a hybrid form, both online (virtually, via Zoom) and on-site, at the Royal Olympic Hotel, Athens, Greece.

Description:

The Rii Forum 2021 will promote academically rigorous in-depth discussion on the impact of pandemic on technology, politics, and society. It will act as an arena for debate on how sophisticated ICTs – including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, big data, cloud and edge computing, 5G, IoT, and social networking – can help stakeholders to manage continuity, innovation, and change in the post-Covid world. The organizing committee of Rii Forum 2021 is particularly interested in track, panel, and paper proposals on the following topics and issues:

  • technology-enhanced teaching and learning
  • smart cities and smart villages • information management
  • innovation management
  • information and communication technology (ICT) in healthcare
  • ICT, international relations, and foreign policy

Deadline:

  • Notification of abstract acceptance: until November 10, 2020
  • Registration portal opens: November 1, 2020
  • Early bird registration: until November 30, 2020
  • Registration portal closes: January, 30, 2021
  • Full conference program announced: March 1, 2021
  • Full paper submission: until March 30, 2021
  • Conference: April 7-9, 2021
